GardaWorld Group in Surprise, AZ is looking for a dedicated Janitorial Staff Member to ensure cleanliness and sanitation within a government detention facility. This full-time role plays a critical part in maintaining infection prevention and safety standards.

Pay: $22.67/hr ($17.58/hr base rate + $5.09 H&W)

In this role, you will support the daily sanitation and cleanliness operations of the government detention facility by ensuring all assigned housing units, offices, medical spaces, hallways, and common areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. This position plays a critical role in infection prevention, resident health and safety, and overall facility operations. You will be responsible for following strict sanitation standards, handling cleaning chemicals safely, maintaining cleaning equipment, and identifying facility maintenance or safety concerns while working in a fast-paced and secure detention environment.
Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach. Employees may also be required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
