Job summary

Service-Management-Systems in Hebron Estates, KY is seeking a janitorial worker to maintain clean premises in commercial and institutional buildings. You will perform duties such as cleaning rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas, and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks.

The role requires ability to read simple instructions, basic math, and physical stamina; prior janitorial housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial housekeeping preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager with scheduling
• Assist with administrative duties
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Lifting chairs and placing them over tables (approx. weight 20-25 lbs.)
• Moving chemicals (5 gal buckets -- approx. weight 40+ lbs.)
• Moving tables (approx. weight 40+ lbs.)
• Operates different types of equipment (i.e. burnishers, scrubbers, pressure washer)
• Uses ManLift or ScissorLift Machine
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
