Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage janitorial operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Provide leadership to staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and offering feedback and coaching as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleaning tasks meet established standards, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during janitorial operations and provide training to staff on safe work practices.
• Manage janitorial supplies and equipment inventory, maintaining accurate records and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their janitorial needs and address any concerns or special requirements.
• Identify training needs and provide training sessions to staff on relevant topics, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
• Act as a point of contact during janitorial-related emergencies, coordinating with appropriate personnel and following emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of custodial activities and prepare regular reports on operational performance.
