Job summary

The Spokane Club in Spokane, WA is seeking a Full-Time Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the daily work of janitorial staff, including overnight shift coverage. You will ensure high cleaning standards, schedule staff, and coach team members to deliver premium service to members and guests.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in supervision in janitorial or housekeeping.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in business management or facilities management preferred.
• Flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and day shifts as needed.
• Highly visible, member-facing role requiring professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Ability to lead people and achieve positive results through others.

Responsibilities

• Lead janitorial staff and assist in supervisory duties as needed by the Manager.
• Cross-train in Housekeeping to provide coverage as needed.
• Monitor club facilities for cleanliness and safety, reporting issues promptly.
• Conduct staff meetings and supervise activities of workers in janitorial services.
• Communicate with other department heads to ensure tasks are completed properly.
• Inspect work to ensure standards and specifications are met.
• Participate in creating quality assurance programs and recommend improvements.
• Train new workers and participate in staffing decisions.
• Represent the club to members in athletic facilities and handle complaints professionally.
• Assist in locker room duties as needed.
• Follow regulatory and safety requirements and perform basic janitorial tasks.
