Job summary

Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado is seeking a Janitorial Lead to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and fitness/athletic spaces. This role involves coordinating daily janitorial tasks and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year janitorial or housekeeping experience, proficiency in English, and Spanish as a preferred secondary language.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, fitness and aquatic areas, etc.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture; clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces; empty trash and ensure proper waste disposal; and clean and sanitize restrooms to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Assist in coordinating daily assignments for janitorial staff.
• Train and support new or existing team members as needed.
• Replenish and monitor supplies such as paper products, towels, and amenities and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Provide support to ensure a positive and welcoming guest environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in high standards, and delivers professional, responsive service to both guests and team members. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualified bilingual Spanish applicants may be eligible for a pay differential. Transitional housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
