Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC is seeking a Janitorial Crew Member to join our IFS-affiliated team in Minnesota. The role covers cleaning duties across building spaces and restrooms with varied shifts, including early mornings and weekends.

As a full-time crew member you will participate in a clean and safe work environment, following instructions and participating in a growing, dynamic team with leadership opportunities. Benefits are included for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (e.g. Dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• May move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truck
• May extract carpet (small jobs)
• Execute proper use of all equipment
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (e.g. rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets)
• Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specifications
• Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager)
• Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off, etc.)
• Properly stack and replace cleaning items and tools
• Ensure supplies are available for each shift
• Report supply requisition needs to Lead/Manager

Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends

Shifts Available:

full time position working up to 32 hours per week, Sunday to Friday with Saturdays day off daily work from 4 am to 9 am 5 hours per day.
