Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead to oversee on-site janitorial crews and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. You will interact with clients, coordinate daily tasks, and mentor team members to follow safety rules and company policies.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with shifts from 4am to 9am, seven days a week. This full-time role offers benefits such as medical insurance, 401(k) with company matching, Quick Pay, and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure documents (English; Spanish where state required).
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements and safety guidelines; forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with ability to motivate team.
• KBSPresence app used for timekeeping and communications.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure crew understand responsibilities under policies.
• Collaborate with Crew to coordinate daily operations and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team has information/tools and leads by example.
• May assist interviews and training for new hires.
