IFS is seeking a Janitorial Crew Lead for our Toledo, OH operations. You will lead a janitorial crew, coordinate tasks, and ensure daily coverage and high service levels for client sites.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of direct janitorial or related operations experience.
• Experience as a team lead is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site crew tasks and ensure tasks are fully executed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned crew.
• Interact with clients and provide professional, prompt service.
• Maintain daily schedules and resolve scheduling issues with supervision.
• Document safety, equipment, and facility issues for follow-up.
• Assist with training and interviewing of new hires as needed.

If you want a flexible schedule to earn some additional income while being part of an exciting, dynamic and growing team with leadership opportunities in a fast-paced environment, then this is the job for you!If this sounds like the right environment for you, then why wait, APPLY TODAY!!Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekendsShifts Available:9am to 2pmSummary of duties:Perform site Crew tasks and ensure Crew tasks are fully executed at siteInteract with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as neededProvide direction and task coordination for assigned CrewEnsure Crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policyCollaborate with Crew to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations and resolve deficiencies in a timely mannerMaintain and observe daily schedules to ensure there is coverage for shifts; work with supervisor to resolve schedule issuesDocument and report issues regarding safety/security, building maintenance, damaged equipment, or any other pertinent issuesSupport process to request uniforms, employee badges, needed supplies, and other itemsMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresRespond to emergencies in the evenings and weekendsAssist Supervisor(s) to ensure buildings are fully staffed each day and fill-in for missing team members as necessaryAssist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and trainingEnsure team members have the information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provide clarity and support team members successMay assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with interviews and trainingMotivate crew; interact regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity, and lead by exampleRequirements for our Janitorial Crew Member position:1-3 years’ direct experience in related janitorial operations, distribution center environments or comparable work experienceExperience as team lead preferred.Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).What’s In It for You?As a full-time IFS employee (working 30+ hours per week), you may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which can include:Health Insurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision)Life Insurance401(k) plan with employer matchPlease Note:Benefits may vary depending on the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
