Job summary

Ridley's Family Markets, Inc. is looking for a maintenance clerk to support store operations in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Responsibilities include assisting managers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting guest service with a friendly demeanor.

The role requires the ability to bend, reach, stand for extended periods, and lift 10–50 pounds; a good work record is preferred. Training and a team-oriented environment are offered.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store through honest, open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as stated in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Do not accept tips from guests; if persisted, monetary tips should be turned into the service desk (NV – exception).
• Assist store and department managers with janitorial duties.
• Clean and restock restroom supplies.
• Trash removal from all work areas.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas throughout the store.
• Dust and lightly clean windows.
• Mop floors with machine and manual mop.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

LICENSES: None Required.

COMMUNICATION: Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.

EQUIPMENT: Any necessary equipment to complete courtesy clerk duties.

EXPERIENCE: None required.

MINIMUM AGE: 18 years of age.

REASON ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.

Requirements

COMMUNICATION:

EQUIPMENT:

Any necessary equipment to complete maintenance clerk duties.

EXPERIENCE:

Able to work varied schedules as assigned

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively

A good demonstrated work record
