Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets in Utah seeks a maintenance clerk to support store operations. You will exhibit friendly customer relations, assist store and department managers, and perform janitorial tasks such as cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors.

Requirements include ability to read safety rules and manuals, 18 years of age, no prior experience required, and ability to lift 10–50 pounds repeatedly.

• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Assist store and department managers with janitorial duties.
• Cleaning and re-stocking restroom supplies.
• Trash removal from all work areas.
• Vacuuming all carpeted areas throughout the store.
• Dusting and light window cleaning.
• Mopping of floors with machine and with manual mop.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

LICENSES: None Required.

COMMUNICATION: Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.

EQUIPMENT: Any necessary equipment to complete courtesy clerk duties.

EXPERIENCE: None required.

MINIMUM AGE: 18 years of age.

REASON ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.

Requirements

COMMUNICATION:

EXPERIENCE:

Able to work varied schedules as assigned

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively

A good demonstrated work record
