Job summary

Buc-ee's is opening a new store in Mebane, NC, and seeks a Janitorial/Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and manage repairs of store equipment. The role requires supervisory experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with long shifts.

The incumbent will direct maintenance staff, train employees, coordinate with store management and vendors, and enforce safety procedures. $33 per hour with opportunities for advancement and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance and supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours on hard and uneven surfaces.
• Climb ladders and work in elevated places.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control the efforts of the Maintenance staff.
• Direct training of employees to improve work performance and acquaint staff with company policies and procedures.
• Work with Store Management Teams and Vendors to oversee repairs and maintenance of store equipment.
• Observe safety and security procedures and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Report unsafe conditions to General Manager and perform light maintenance duties on equipment.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Candidates must be people and task oriented, self-motivated, dependable and able to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced environment.
