Job summary

Buc-ee's is opening in Mebane, NC Fall 2027 and seeks a Manager-driven leader for our Food Service department.

The Assistant Food Service Manager will support operations, drive customer service, and mentor staff while upholding Buc-ee's standards of cleanliness, friendliness, and in stock items. Wage is $37.00 per hour with benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail or management experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel & Outlook.
• Food service certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with every aspect of operating the department.
• Manage the product offerings (Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs).
• Solve customer issues quickly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws in regards to foodservice and employment matters.
• Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and safety rules.
