Job summary

Buc-ee's is opening a new location in Mebane, NC, Fall 2027. We are seeking a Night Manager to ensure a clean, friendly, and in-stock experience for customers while leading store personnel and maintaining product quality.

The role requires managing shifts, resolving issues professionally, and complying with all applicable laws. Competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, and retirement matching are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service management is preferred.
• Ability to manage store personnel and oversee night operations.
• Familiarity with POS devices and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of General Manager in their absence.
• Operate POS devices and reconcile shift reports.
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assign and inspect elements listed on shift duty list.
• Communicate professionally with the Store General Manager and employees.
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws as they apply to retail sales.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
• Manage multiple tasks and rotate day/night shifts.

Buc-ee's Is Coming to Mebane, NC Opening Fall 2027! We are looking for Retail and Food Service Management Now! The Night Manager provides a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer. The applicant must have the ability to manage store personnel, ensure product quality, and promote customer service.

Essential Job Functions

• $33 / hour Perform duties and responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence or upon their discretion
• Illustrate competent knowledge of various Point Of Sale and transactional devices
• Reconcile multiple shift reports
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly and professional manner
• Assign and inspect elements listed on shift duty list
• Communicate professionally with the Store General Manager and employees
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws as they apply to retail sales and general employment matter
• Assure safety rules and regulations are implemented and followed
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
• Interact professionally with other team members
• Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work on the store’s busiest days
• Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night

Position Requirements

• Prolonged walking or standing for 8-12 continuous hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (e.g. ice cart with 50 or more 20 lb. bags of ice, and lifting product or material weighing 40 lbs. or more)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
