Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitorial Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple customer locations in the Indianapolis area. This hands-on leadership role manages staffing, scheduling, and quality standards while building strong customer relationships to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial operations and employees across multiple customer locations.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach and develop janitorial team members.
• Visit assigned customer sites regularly to ensure service and quality standards.
• Build relationships with customers and quickly resolve service concerns.
• Manage employee schedules and staffing while maintaining labor budgets.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and ensure required site visits are completed.
• Lead new-hire orientation and ongoing safety training.
• Identify opportunities for additional services within accounts.
