Janitorial and Grounds Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Janitorial/Landscaping Maintenance Technician. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of rest area interiors and exteriors, including grounds, bathrooms, floors, and vending machines, to ensure safety and cleanliness. The position supports locations in the Treasure Coast, FL.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, weed eating, litter removal, basic plumbing repairs
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of designated areas
• Minor restroom repairs (toilets, sinks, fixtures)
• Building maintenance (doors, hardware, furniture)
• Setting up meeting spaces (chairs, tables, AV equipment)
• Touch-up painting and miscellaneous repairs

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping and basic repairs
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and scheduling skills
• Basic plumbing, building, painting skills
• Computer literacy (email, scheduling, maintenance management)

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, day shift, Monday-Friday, with availability for nights and weekends as needed.

Salary: $15-$17/hr depending on experience.
