Job Title: Janitorial and Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Water Street Condominium Association

Reports To: Board of Directors / Property Manager

Position Summary:

The Janitorial and Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the Water Street community. This position requires a self-motivated individual who proactively identifies and addresses maintenance needs without waiting for direction. The ideal candidate takes initiative, prioritizes tasks based on urgency and impact, and always ensures cost-effective and safe practices.

Key Responsibilities:

·Perform daily janitorial duties including cleaning common areas, hallways, railings, stairs, restrooms, exterior walkways, leaf blowing, etc.

·Conduct routine inspections of the property and proactively address cleanliness or minor repair needs.

·Prioritize and complete light maintenance and repair tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and tightening fixtures.

·Maintain and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies.

·Assist with setup and cleanup for community events or meetings.

·Safely operate and maintain small engines and equipment used in janitorial and basic maintenance tasks

·Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with community rules and regulations.

Requirements:

·Must be a legal U.S. and able to pass a background check.

·Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

·Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

·Strong communications skills.
