Job summary

Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services (PCFS), a division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc., seeks an Account Supervisor for night shift. You will lead daily cleaning operations, train new teammates, and ensure client satisfaction with high-quality service.

The role requires prior janitorial and supervisory experience, full-time hours, and a willingness to manage performance issues and coordinate with the Manager to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in janitorial work.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scope of work and ensure quality in assigned areas.
• Train new team members and help prepare orientation materials.
• Directly supervise team members and ensure duties meet standards.
• Inspect work, coach as needed, and escalate issues to the Manager.
• Assist with technical issues and respond to client requests promptly.
• Communicate changes to the team and monitor attendance and productivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve cleaning quality and efficiency.
• Maintain regular communication with the Manager about account conditions.

The Account Supervisor serves as the functional lead to ensure full execution of daily scope of work and quality in assigned areas of a building(s). Overall duties include assisting with the planning, preparation of training and orientation for new team members, organizing and monitoring work processes to ensure that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks. Account Supervisors must be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously and will hold themselves personally accountable to ensure that clients are satisfied with the quality of our service.

• Collaborate closely with the Manager to promptly address concerns, develop solutions, and ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Train new Team Members on the facility’s scope of work, proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
• Directly oversee Team Members to ensure assigned duties and quality standards are consistently met.
• Inspect work performed by Team Members and provide coaching and direction when corrective action is needed; **escalate** significant or recurring performance issues to the Manager.
• Assist Team Members with technical issues, equipment concerns, or more complex cleaning assignments.
• Follow up on client, management, and Team Member requests to ensure issues are resolved timely and appropriately.
• Communicate building changes, operational updates, and changes to the scope of work to the janitorial team and Manager.
• Monitor employee attendance, work assignments, productivity, and adherence to established work requirements, and promptly communicate concerns to the Manager.
• Identify opportunities to improve cleaning quality, efficiency, staffing, and overall account performance and work with the Manager to implement solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with the Manager regarding account conditions, employee performance, client concerns, and any issues requiring attention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a janitorial capacity required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a supervisory capacity preferred.

Education

Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment/Hours

full-time non-exempt (hourly) position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending).
• Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
