Job summary

Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services seeks an Office Cleaner to manage janitorial tasks at the assigned site, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

You will perform cleaning of entryways, corridors, elevators and common areas; sanitize bathrooms; remove trash; and follow infection control procedures to maintain a high standard of hygiene. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial setting preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk 6-8 hours daily.
• Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work around food and cleaning products also required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply per state or client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, elevators and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets.
• Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to safety precautions.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
