Responsibilities

• Ensures cleaning and facilities work is completed to scope, safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
• Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
• Inspects work performed by team members.
• Addresses minor corrective performance concerns with team members and refers more serious cases to the Account Manager and/or District Manager.
• Provides follow‑up on requests and concerns.
• Identifies issues and opportunities during the course of their work and escalates as needed to the Account Manager and/or District Manager.
• Communicates building changes such as construction, remodeling, repairs, and new facility contacts to the Account Manager and District Manager.
• Trains new team members on facility scope of work, equipment use, and proper cleaning techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Lead by example to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests, and work orders are completed on time and within company and customer expectations.
• Polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co‑workers.
• Maintain a friendly and safe work environment.

• Manage the day‑to‑day activities, ad‑hoc requests, etc.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a janitorial capacity required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a supervisory capacity preferred.

Education

Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment/Hours

A part‑time or full‑time non‑exempt (hourly) position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift items of up to 35 lb while moving around and perform other physical duties such as climbing ladders, lifting, and bending.
• Adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
