Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a Janitorial Account Manager to lead operations across six schools and two district facilities. You will supervise ~40 janitorial staff across 1st and 2nd shifts, build strong relationships with school principals, and ensure facilities meet contract standards.

This on-site role requires a 1st shift with some 2nd shift coverage. A college degree is preferred, with 2–5+ years of supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license for a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2–5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record; commute within 30 minutes of site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and inspire a team of ~40 staff across 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Build trust-based relationships with school principals and district leaders.
• Conduct site audits to ensure clean, safe facilities that meet contract standards.
• Manage supply inventory, labor hours, and budgets as Operations Manager.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and safety compliance (OSHA).

Position Overview

Pay: $55,000 – $60,000 per year + company vehicle, phone, and laptop

• Conduct routine site audits to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming facility environments that exceed contract standards.
• Manage supply inventory, labor hours, and budgets as an effective Janitorial Operations Manager.
• Oversee site recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and safety compliance (OSHA).

What You Bring To The Team

• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Associate’s Degree required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• 2–5+ years of supervisory or management experience (e.g., hospitality, retail, operations, logistics, or facilities). Direct janitorial experience is a plus, but not required!
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record to operate a company vehicle.
