Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is seeking a Floor Technician to join the Ocala Regional Medical Center housekeeping team. You will perform cleaning, buffing, bonneting, and related floor maintenance to ensure a safe, sanitary hospital environment.

Based out of Ocala but travel throughout Florida and Georgia as needed. We offer full-time schedules with day, evening, and night shifts; background check and drug screen required; vaccination policy may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
• Pressure washing, air duct cleaning, and minor facility repairs.
• Floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices; assist team members as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Floor Technician/ Janitorial Wage: $16/hour Full-time positions available Day/Evening/Night shifts available Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required Location: Ocala Regional Medical Center/ this position will be based out of Ocala, but will travel throughout Florida and Georgia as needed.

Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors. Also, pressure washing, air duct cleaning, and minor facility repairs. Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift. Pushing, pulling, and lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
