Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team! Support the housekeeping (EVS) department leadership to maintain a high level of cleanliness and consistency throughout all areas of the hospital. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.

Role Overview

Housekeeping Supervisor

Wage: $16/hour

Full-time position available

Day shifts available

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas

• Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment necessary to complete job assignments

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• GED or high school diploma

Preferred

• Experience as a supervisor preferred
• Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
