Job summary

TRDI is seeking a full-time janitor for the Sarita location. The role requires custodial experience, knowledge of floor care, cleaning chemicals, and materials. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and provide supplies for buildings, offices and facilities.
• Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms, and other areas.
• Empty and decontaminate trash containers.
• Mix cleaning solutions to proper concentrations.
• Wash blinds, windows, and walls with prescribed solutions.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Replace light bulbs and pick up trash.
• Must climb a step ladder and use floor burnisher.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform other duties as directed by Project Manager.

TRDI is currently seeking a full-time experienced Janitor for the Sarita location. Must have custodial experience, knowledge of floor care, cleaning chemicals, and materials. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance/valid drivers license.

Salary: $18.28

• The Janitor under immediate supervision is assigned to a shift and will clean and provide supplies for buildings, offices and facilities as needed.
• Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms, shower rooms, holding cells, surfaces and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing.
• Empties and decontaminates trash containers.
• Mixes or blends routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks.
• Washes blinds, windows, screens, sills and walls with prescribed solutions.
• Sweeps sidewalks, porches and tiled surfaces.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs, picks up trash and paper around buildings.
• Must be able to climb a step ladder, use floor burnisher, and communicate effectively with customer.
• Performs other duties as directed by Project Manager.
