Job summary

TRDI is seeking a full-time janitor for the Sarita location with custodial experience and knowledge of floor care and cleaning chemicals. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and a valid driver’s license. The position offers benefits based on eligibility, paid time off, and paid holidays, with uniform provided.

Salary is $18.28 per hour, schedule varies, and travel is minimal. High school diploma or better is required.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience required.
• Knowledge of floor care, cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings, offices and facilities as assigned.
• Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms and other areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing.
• Empty and decontaminate trash containers.
• Mix cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as needed.
• Wash blinds, windows, screens, sills and walls with prescribed solutions.
• Sweep sidewalks and surfaces; dust furniture and equipment.
• Replace light bulbs and assist with basic maintenance tasks as directed.
