Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and common areas.
  • Complete daily carpet spotting and periodic deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Clean furniture, glass, and exterior areas as required.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in safe working conditions.
  • Maintain organized and secure storage areas for supplies and equipment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning materials and proper usage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that promotes efficiency and safety.
  • Follow all emergency procedures including evacuation and incident response protocols.
  • Apply knowledge of fire prevention and reporting procedures.
  • Provide professional customer service and respond appropriately to requests or concerns.
  • Maintain appropriate workplace behavior and communication with coworkers and customers.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Ability to work with moderate supervision and some independent decision making.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Work performed primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds occasionally
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • May require evening, overnight, or weekend shifts
  • Ability to respond to urgent cleaning needs or emergencies.
