Related Management Company (RMC) is seeking a Janitor/Porter to maintain cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, elevators, common areas, and restrooms at 450 West 42nd Street NYC. The role requires reliability, 1–2 years of janitor experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will also handle light maintenance, provide excellent resident service, and support building upkeep, snow removal, and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years janitor/porter experience.
• Reliable and familiar with cleaning chemicals.
• Team player capable of working with little supervision.
• Excellent time management and strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• May be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Work Schedule is:

• SUN and MON OFF
• TUES 5AM-1:30PM, WED-SAT 3PM-11:30PM

The Janitor/Porter will be working directly under the MIMA 450 West 42nd Street NYC.

The Janitor/Porter responsibilities include:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, elevators, common areas, and restrooms (m op, sweep, strip/wax/buff floors, dust, vacuum and garbage removal)
• Light maintenance may be assigned
• Provide excellent customer service to residents
• General upkeep of the buildings and grounds
• Snow removal and landscaping
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition
• Special projects as assigned
