Tessera is seeking a reliable Janitor at Bremerton, WA (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard) for part-time SwingShift. The role includes cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness per schedule.

The position offers a non-exempt status with a $21.52/hour wage plus a 5% swing differential, comprehensive benefits for part-time staff, and eligibility for security clearances. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a background check.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Followcross contaminationprocedures.
• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.
• Cleaning halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.
• Cleaning entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Trash -collect trash fromlunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas-collecttrash according to schedule.
• Restocking supplies - restock supplies daily.
• Dusting -dustingin lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only.
• Cleaning stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule.
• Cleaning portable showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures.
• Maintaining lockers - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment beforestoring.
• Wet/Dry mopping - wet/drymopeach floor according to schedule.
• Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule.
• Communicating with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.
• Mustbe able to work up to a 40-hour work week.
• Must complete andsubmita 'Questionnaire for National Security Positions Standard Form (SF86)' packet within90 daysof employment as applicable for secret clearance.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of work areas at PSNS, including waterfrontareasis preferred.
• Mustbe able to work independently and as part of a team.
• 6 months of Janitorial experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to50pounds.
• May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
