Job summary

Royale Company is hiring a part-time cleaner to keep luxury residential buildings in New York City clean and welcoming. You will sweep, mop, and sanitize lobbies, hallways, stairwells and front desk areas, and manage trash and recycling per shift.

We offer training, a uniform, holiday tips, paid training and growth opportunities into building operations roles. Background checks are required and you’ll join a team with a steady, punctual schedule.

Qualifications

• Janitorial or building cleaning experience is preferred, ideally more than one year. We provide training.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• A friendly manner and a neat, presentable appearance with residents and guests.
• Background check required (at our cost).

Job description

Clean lobbies, hallways and stairwells in a residential building, not an office. Janitorial experience helps, but we train you.

Schedule: Thursday, 4pm to 8pm, plus Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4pm.

The Job

You keep the building clean and welcoming for the residents who live there. On a typical shift you will:

• Sweep, mop and clean lobbies, hallways, stairwells and other common areas
• Collect and take out trash and recycling
• Keep entrances and the front desk area clean and tidy
