• Location: GM Memphis - 5115 Pleasant Hill Road, Memphis, TN 38118. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: One year of prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $25.09 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties:

• Collect and dispose of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning, then return to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using proper materials and equipment; sanitize surfaces; follow the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and proactively address them.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts; demonstrate professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
