Job Opening: Janitor

We have openings for full-time and part-time Janitor positions.

Location: Compass Group - 2400 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirement: One year of prior janitorial experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains cleanliness of buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties:

• Disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and mops floors.
• Moves and replaces furniture for cleaning.
• Uses designated materials and equipment to clean and sanitize surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards.
• Identifies areas needing cleaning and completes tasks proactively.
• Follows all guidelines and completes tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Refinishes floors and shampoos carpets as needed.
• Works professionally with team, customers, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
