We are hiring immediately for a full-time Janitor position at SSC.

Location

Fairfield ISD - 701 Post Oak Road, Fairfield, TX 75840. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Days may vary; more details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, sanitize surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform duties in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
