Job Summary

Summary: Maintain cleanliness and order in buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors, move and replace furniture for cleaning.
• Clean assigned areas using proper materials and equipment, sanitize surfaces, follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines while performing duties.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts, exhibit professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
