We are hiring immediately for full-time Janitor positions at SSC Services for Education.

Job Details

• Location: New Braunfels ISD - 1000 North Walnut, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, days may vary, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. More details provided upon interview.
• Requirement: Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for keeping buildings clean and orderly, including heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties

• Disposing of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusting and mopping floors.
• Moving and replacing furniture for cleaning.
• Cleaning assigned areas with proper materials and equipment, sanitizing surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washing walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and completing tasks proactively.
• Following all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Exhibiting professionalism and teamwork.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
