Job summary

Fortis Native Group is seeking a full-time Custodian to support the Del Rio Customs Border Patrol. This on-site role reports to the Project Manager and performs custodial duties on government contracts.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors, cleaning lavatories and common areas, removing trash, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to move and lift items.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Must pass agency and federal background checks, drug screen, and confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
• The Custodian's job is physically demanding due to the need to move, carry and store items and clean, dust, and wipe rooms full of furniture as well as floors and carpets.
• 1-2 years of experience.

Fortis Native Group is seeking candidates for a Custodian position. This position is fully onsite and supporting the Del Rio Customs Border Patrol. They will report to the Project Manager.

• May include a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

Wage $15.40/hr plus $5.42 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits), which can be taken as additional hourly pay resulting in an effective wage of $20.82/hr.
