Job summary

Fortis Native Group is seeking Custodians to support the Del Rio Customs Border Patrol. This fully on-site position requires physical stamina to perform intensive custodial tasks in government facilities, with regular floor care, dusting, and waste removal under strict security procedures.

Remote Status: On-Site

Fortis Native Group is seeking Custodians . This position is fully onsite and supporting the Del Rio Customs Border Patrol. They will report to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Custodial duties for Government contracts.
• May include a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Disinfecting of high touch areas (doorknobs, light switch covers, desktops, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Must pass agency and federal background checks, drug screen, and confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
• The Custodian’s job is physically demanding due to the need to move, carry and store various items and clean, dust, and wipe rooms full of furniture as well as floors and carpets. The successful application must have the physical capacity to perform these types of tasks.
• 1-2 years of experience.

Wage $15.40/hr plus $5.42per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits), which can be taken as additional hourly pay resulting in an effective wage of $20.82hr.
