We are hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR position.

Location: Weyauwega - 410 E Ann St, Weyauwega WI 54983 (Openings at other locations within the school district available). Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary. More details upon interview. (Full and Part-Time with flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Requirements: Previous janitorial experience preferred; willing to train.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary: Maintains cleanliness and order in buildings. Performs heavy cleaning duties including floor cleaning, shampooing rugs, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal. Essential duties include:

1. Collecting and disposing of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
2. Dusting and damp mopping floors per procedures.
3. Moving equipment and furniture for cleaning and restoring them to original placement.
4. Cleaning assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning process.
5. Washing walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
6. Proactively identifying areas needing cleaning and completing tasks efficiently.
7. Completing all tasks assigned by supervisors.
8. Following all federal, state, and county guidelines.
9. Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
10. Contributing to team efforts and demonstrating professionalism.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.
