1. Location: GM PEC - 851 North Glenwood, Pontiac, MI 48340. Note: online applications accepted only.
2. Schedule: Full time; Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. More details upon interview.
3. Requirement: Prior janitorial experience preferred.
4. Pay Rate: $19.84 per hour.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, refinish floors, and shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
