Job summary

ESFM® USA is looking for a janitor in New Carlisle, IN to keep buildings clean and orderly. Duties include heavy cleaning, trash disposal, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

This fixed-rate position offers $15.00 per hour and comes with full-time benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct locations.
• Clears assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Identifies areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Location & Schedule

Compensation

Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
