We are hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR position.

Location: Menasha School District - PO Box 360, Menasha, WI 54952. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 1st and 2nd shifts, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary; more details provided during interview.

Requirements: Must have a valid WI driver's license and a good driving history.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of buildings. Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and mops floors following procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning, then returns furniture to proper placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitizes surfaces, and follows the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, etc., to maintain a safe environment.
• Identifies areas needing cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs duties in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinish floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to team efforts; maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
