Join to apply for the JANITOR (FULL TIME) role at SSC Services For Education.

We are hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR position located at Menasha School District, PO Box 360, Menasha, WI 54952. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 1st and 2nd shift, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary; more details provided upon interview.

Requirements: Must have a valid WI driver's license and a good driving history.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and restore to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
