Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in buildings, performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disposing of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusting and mopping floors.
• Moving and replacing furniture for cleaning.
• Cleaning assigned areas using proper materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washing walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and taking initiative.
• Completing tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Following all relevant federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Exhibiting professionalism and teamwork.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
