Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Performs heavy cleaning duties and maintains a safe environment following all guidelines and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning, then return them to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to all regulations.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
