Job summary

ESFM USA in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Full-time Janitor to maintain clean and safe facilities. The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with pay ranging from $14.50 to $16.50 per hour, and training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct position.
• Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
