Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Janitor to support a pharmaceutical client in Philadelphia, PA. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment essential for pharmaceutical operations and production of life-changing medications.

The Janitor will perform daily cleaning across locker rooms, kitchens, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas, using standard cleaning tools including a floor scrubber and ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Proficient at operating all necessary cleaning equipment (ladders, lift, floor scrubber).
• Good attendance and adherence to CGMP, security, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean the Men’s locker room daily, restocking supplies, fixtures, trash, and mop floors; wipe stalls and walls.
• Clean the Women’s locker room daily, restocking supplies, fixtures, trash, and mop floors; wipe stalls and walls.
• Spot clean and empty trash in the office area kitchens.
• Fully clean plant floor restrooms including mopping, fixtures, partitions, walls, restocking supplies, trash and mirrors.
• Clean the cafeteria, mop floors, wipe tables and walls, clean glass on vending machines and trash areas.
• Sweep the exterior area around corporate smoking, empty ashtrays and trash.
• Clean the restroom by the security office including mopping, fixtures and supplies.
• Special projects.
• Clean air-conditioning vents, lighting fixtures and change pre-filters as needed.

Position Title: Janitor

Wage: $18.44 per hour

Shift: (Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday) 4:00pm to 12:00am; (Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday) 12:00am to 8:00am

As a Janitorial Associate, your work will directly support the production of life-changing medications while building experience with a global industry leader.

Responsibilities

• Clean the Men's locker room in full. This includes restocking supplies, cleaning the fixtures, and emptying the trash along with a full mopping of the floor on a daily basis. This shall also include wiping down all stalls and walls.
• Clean the Ladies locker room in full. This includes restocking supplies, cleaning the fixtures, and emptying the trash along with a full mopping of the floor on a daily basis. This shall also include wiping down all stalls and walls.
• Spot clean and empty the trash in the office area kitchens.
• Fully clean the plant floor restrooms. This includes mopping the floor, cleaning the fixtures, wipe down partitions and walls daily. This also includes restocking supplies, emptying the trash and cleaning the mirrors.
• Clean the cafeteria in full. This shall include mopping the floors, cleaning the tables, cleaning the windows and wiping down the walls. The janitor will also empty the trash and clean the glass on the vending machines.
• Sweep the outside area around corporate smoking, empty the ashtrays and trash.
• Clean the restroom by the security office. This includes mopping the floor, cleaning the fixtures and restocking the supplies.
• Special projects.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be proficient at operating all necessary equipment, such as, climb ladders/utilize a lift and ride on floor scrubber.
• Must have good attendance.
• Must observe all CGMP's, security and safety requirements.
• Preferred 2 - 4 years janitorial experience.
