Job summary

Gcg Companies in South Bend, IN is seeking a dependable janitorial worker to perform routine cleaning across facilities under general supervision.

You will sweep, mop, sanitize restrooms, empty trash, clean glass, and maintain a safe, organized environment in line with GMP standards. Candidates should be able to lift 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash and recycling.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and supply areas.
• Clean glass partitions and mirrors; dust furniture and walls.
• Wipe surfaces and sanitize high-touch areas.
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators.
• Prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and facilities compliant with GMP standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Perform routine janitorial work of facilities under general supervision and additional maintenance duties, as needed.

Key Results Area:

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.

Gather and empty trash and recycling.

Clean, sanitize and supply restrooms, break rooms or other areas with supplies.

Clean glass partitions and mirrors.

Dust furniture and wall partitions.

Wipe down and sanitize surfaces.

Clean and sanitize refrigerators.

Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe environment that complies with GMP standards.

Various other job duties as assigned.
