Elgen Staffing is seeking a Janitor/Custodian for a pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Fairfield, NJ. The role focuses on keeping plant locations clean and orderly while adhering to OSHA rules and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, and offices, managing trash, maintaining daily checklists, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a physical, hands-on position requiring reliability and attentiveness to sanitation and compliance.

• Experience in janitorial work in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Clean restrooms across the plant and stock supplies.
• Clean vending areas, break rooms, and reception areas.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in the First Aid Room.
• Remove trash from production areas to the compactor.
• Clean front office, lab, and admin offices on a rotating basis.
• Keep daily checklists and records.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, or quality issues.
