Job summary

GDI Services Inc US in Dearborn seeks a dedicated Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing a variety of cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

The role requires following procedures, using equipment safely, reporting concerns, and being dependable and detail-oriented to welcome employees, visitors, and customers. Shift options include Monday-Friday 5:00pm- 1:30AM and 5:00PM- 9:30PM.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Must follow safety rules and maintain a professional attitude.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, remove trash, and restock supplies as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, and restocking supplies as needed.

The position requires following established cleaning procedures, using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and ensuring all areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards. The Janitor must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
