Job summary

GDI.com is seeking General Cleaners in Aurora, Ohio, to provide high-level cleaning for commercial properties. Responsibilities include executing floor stripping, refinishing, waxing, and sealing.

The ideal candidate must possess reliable transportation and the ability to work well in a team. Experience with commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. This position offers a Third Shift schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM, enhancing the work-life balance for night shift workers.

Qualifications

General Cleaners Responsibilities

Floor Stripping & Refinishing: Execute complete VCT stripping procedures by applying chemical strippers, removing old wax build-up, neutralizing the floor, and preparing surfaces for refinishing.

Waxing & Sealing: Apply multiple, even coats of floor finish/wax and sealers according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

• Experience with cleaning commercial buildings a plus, but not required
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Must have reliable transportation
