Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking General Cleaners to service a food manufacturing facility. You will clean production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and perform sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a safe, sanitary workplace.

Ideal candidates will work well with a crew, listen to supervisor instructions, have reliable transportation, and wear steel-toed shoes when required. The job can be performed in hot conditions and requires adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning commercial buildings a plus, but not required.
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Steel-toed shoes required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.
