Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services in Aurora, Ohio, is seeking General Cleaners to perform maintenance duties including floor stripping and refinishing. Candidates must have the ability to work with crew members and listen to customer requests.

Experience in commercial cleaning is a plus, but not mandatory. Reliable transportation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete VCT stripping procedures by applying chemical strippers.
• Apply multiple, even coats of floor finish/wax and sealers according to manufacturer specifications.

Sun - Thurs: Third Shift – 11 PM – 7 AM

General Cleaners Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Floor Stripping & Refinishing: Execute complete VCT stripping procedures by applying chemical strippers, removing old wax build‑up, neutralizing the floor, and preparing surfaces for refinishing.
• Waxing & Sealing: Apply multiple, even coats of floor finish/wax and sealers according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
